چکیده
Abstract Traditional gear measurement results are used to classify a tolerance grade in accordance with ISO 1328-1:2013 but as more stringent requirements placed on performance it is important also characterise related features properly the flank surface. However, uncertainty of machines not improving at same rate requirements, and uncommon have less than 10 μm tolerances be measured 1–3 capability. This breaks ‘rule thumb’ that should smaller one tenth value you trying measure. It therefore review evaluation process identify if there any areas for improvement within our current methods. Additionally, measurements being refine tooth contact analysis models development optical high speed tactile scanning methods allowing full 3D surface feasible option shop floor. Greater understanding involute beyond standard limits thus required. These additional prompted this effect Gaussian filters specified their characteristics fully understood by those who must perform interpret results. paper examines these where micro geometry corrections, such tip relief, or end face chamfers present. Methods minimising effects reviewed specific reference strategies defined 16610-28:2016. Recommendations offered minimise when evaluating class quantifying geometry.

Implementation of the Spur Involute Gear Model on Modelica
A procedure to build up a dynamical model of the gearbox with spur involute mesh is being described. The main attention is paid to the design technology of the cylindrical bodies elastic contact models. To track geometry of contact implicit equations of algebraic/transcendental or differential-algebraic type are being used. At the same time dynamical models of the bodies involved, gearwheels an...
متن کاملSliding Friction Contact Stiffness Model of Involute Arc Cylindrical Gear Based on Fractal Theory
Gear’s normal contact stiffness played an important role in the mechanical equipment. In this paper, the M-B fractal model is modified and the contact surface coefficient is put forward to set up the fractal model, considering the influence of friction, which could be used to calculate accurately the involute arc cylindrical gears’ normal contact stiffness based on the fractal theory and Hertz ...
متن کاملA New Method to Calculate Bending Deformation of Involute Helical Gear
The traditional method to calculate bending displacement of helical tooth is generally based on simplified tooth profile. Besides, the unbalance loading is not taken into account. To overcome this disadvantage, a new method to calculate bending deformation of helical tooth is introduced. First, gear section is divided into several copies along tooth width and each section’s moment of inertia is...
متن کاملOn Jack Phillip's Spatial Involute Gearing
This is a geometric approach to spatial involute gearing which has recently been developed by Jack Phillips (2003). After recalling Phillips' fundamental theorems and other properties, some geometric questions around this interesting type of gearing are discussed.
متن کاملThe Equation of the Contact Line of the Involute Curvilinear-Tooth Cylindrical Gear Pump for the Agricultural Tractor
In order to derive the equation of the contact line of the involute curvilinear-tooth cylindrical gear pump for the agricultural tractor, the tooth surface of the involute curvilinear-tooth cylindrical gear is firstly generated as that of the spur or helical gear. Then the equation of the tooth surface is derived from changing the settings and orientations of the coordinate systems after the eq...
